Stephanie is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) who specializes in sports nutrition, eating disorders and disordered eating, and weight management.

Stephanie is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) who is energetic and passionate about influencing the lives of people who want to maximize their performance in both sport and everyday life.  Her enthusiasm about nutrition and seeing how small habit changes positively affect those with whom she works is contagious and motivational.  Stephanie works with each client and their family so that you feel like you are in control of the changes you are making while receiving encouragement and guidance from her.

Stephanie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from James Madison University and her Master's Degree from George Mason University in Exercise, Fitness, and Health Promotion.  She has experience in a variety of settings including hospitals where patients have multiple medical problems to fitness and outpatient centers.  She has delivered many dynamic presentations in various settings including cancer support groups, fitness centers, and health and wellness fairs.  Stephanie has been utilized as a nutrition expert in the media by doing television spots and newspaper interviews on nutrition hot topics and diet fads.  In addition to her private practice, Stephanie teaches health and nutrition classes with Kaplan University and American University. 

Integrating healthy behaviors and good sound nutrition principles takes time and dedication.  Stephanie's personal belief is that to be the healthiest person or best athlete you can be involves a realistic and individualized approach while using the most current recommendations.
