I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of North Carolina. I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) with over 8 years experience in the mental health field. I am a professional certified as a DCC (Distance Credentialed Counselor). I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from East Carolina University and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Capella University. In my graduate program, I specialized in Group therapy, couples, as well as Individual Therapy. My professional experience includes group and individual therapy from local agencies, clinics, government, and domestic violence shelters. I am currently working with transitioning veterans from the US Air Forces. I am a certified facilitator for United States Air Force as a 4 Lenses and “Managing Millennium”. I am certified as a victim service advocate and domestic violence rehabilitation facilitator. I have worked with individuals and groups on issues such as family issues, divorce, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger management, parenting skills, grief and loss, physical and sexual abuse, and adolescent issues. | |
