My life and travel experiences have shaped my personal and professional life. Being French Canadian born, my family emigrated to the US as a child. At 18, I married my husband, an officer in the Army at the height of the Vietnam War. Growing up in a chemically dependent family, recovery is a life-long family goal.
A constant learner, I fill every day with new knowledge whether inside or outside of an educational institution. I have always been on the cutting edge of learning.
I have raised 2 sons. One went to West Point Academy. The other son is a published photographer.
I have had a successful small practice for nearly 25 years.
I took care of my mother with Alzheimer’s and a good friend with breast cancer until they passed this world.
I am a Yoga practitioner of 45 years, musician, gourmet cook, urban organic gardener, mother of two rescued dogs. I invent things as well such as a water purifier system for my apartment shower and a deodorizer to help folks.
International travel has taken me across the globe to Australia, Eastern & Western Europe, India, Japan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Greece, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Canada, Turkey, Israel, and Egypt.
My Joy and Passion is to help folks lead happy healthy lives and working with their adversities to grow and transform these to make the future greater than the past.
I have about 50,000 hours of clinical experience and I have handled about 25,000 phone calls in an EAP capacity.
