Martha Ireland, PhD, RN, CS, CEDS

Martha Ireland Image for WebsiteDr. Ireland is a psychotherapist in private practice and is co-founder of Virtual Therapy Connect. She brings valuable expertise in the mental health industry and has more than 20 years’ experience in private practice. She owned and operated a successful multidisciplinary outpatient clinic, ADE, Inc. (also known as Altering Disordered Eating).

As a seasoned intuitive psychotherapist, Dr. Ireland embraces with her clients a variety of healing methods and is grounded in both theory and practice. Her PhD in psychology is from Florida Religious Studies Institute, her Masters in Counseling from the University of Delaware, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont. She has been a CEO of both profit and nonprofit organizations, is published, has led workshops, and has lectured around the country.

The current focus of Dr. Ireland's career is on the integration of technology and psychotherapy through Virtual Therapy Connect, and she has most recently presented on this topic at George Washington University and the Renfrew Center Foundation Conference.
