Martha Ireland, PhD, RN, CS, CEDS
Dr. Ireland is a psychotherapist in private practice and is co-founder of Virtual Therapy Connect. She brings valuable expertise in the mental health industry and has more than 20 years’ experience in private practice. She owned and operated a successful multidisciplinary outpatient clinic, ADE, Inc. (also known as Altering Disordered Eating).
As a seasoned intuitive psychotherapist, Dr. Ireland embraces with her clients a variety of healing methods and is grounded in both theory and practice. Her PhD in psychology is from Florida Religious Studies Institute, her Masters in Counseling from the University of Delaware, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont. She has been a CEO of both profit and nonprofit organizations, is published, has led workshops, and has lectured around the country.
The current focus of Dr. Ireland's career is on the integration of technology and psychotherapy through Virtual Therapy Connect, and she has most recently presented on this topic at George Washington University and the Renfrew Center Foundation Conference.
Jennifer Arute Jones, MBA
Jennifer Arute Jones, co-founder of Virtual Therapy Connect, brings to the team valuable business management experience gained during the past 15 years as owner and operator of a successful small business, Diversified Marketing Technologies, Inc. In addition to running the business, she has helped clients to identify business opportunities, to develop business strategies, and to create and implement marketing efforts. She has also provided project management services. During her career, she has worked for Fortune 500 clients such as Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Kraft Foods, Inc., and Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc., as well as for some small startup ventures.
Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from George Mason University, and graduated first in her class with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech. At this time, Jennifer is now wholly focused on developing and growing Virtual Therapy Connect, concentrating primarily on operations management, project management, and marketing design and implementation.

Dennis Welu, the President and CEO of Motis Consulting, brings over 20 years of experience in software development to Virtual Therapy Connect. He has experience ranging from hands on engineering to product management to executive leadership. He has been a consultant to clients large and small - from startup to Fortune 500 companies. From grade school on Dennis has been working with computers and technology, graduating from Clarke University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Today he continues to assist clients with first understanding their overall strategy and long term goals to identify and execute the appropriate technical roadmap. Motis Consulting has a particular focus on mobile technologies - helping clients navigate the highly fragmented development and user experience on a vast array of mobile devices.
Dennis is not only a principal partner with Virtual Therapy Connect, he also leads our IT Team in the continued development and improvement of our VTConnect technology as part of our ongoing efforts to provide the highest quality, most user friendly, secure solution for distance therapy in the marketplace.
Janine Anthony Bowen, Esq.
The founder of JACK Attorneys and Advisors, Janine Anthony Bowen counsels clients in critical areas spanning intellectual property, Internet-based issues, and the licensing and acquisition of technology. She helps clients leverage greater revenue from their technology, and she safeguards their intellectual property.
Before she founded JACK, Ms. Bowen capped a more than decade-long practice in law by rising to partner at the Atlanta office of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP. Before practicing law, she built a foundation for her career in technology. She worked as a senior software consultant for Accenture, as an industrial engineer at CIBA Vision and as a program manager for IBM, where she managed hundreds of technology licensing agreements that generated global revenue exceeding $150 million a year.
Ms. Bowen's Juris Doctor is from Georgia State University College of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science from Clemson University. Ms. Bowen serves as legal counsel for Virtual Therapy Connect and helps conduct workshops with Dr. Ireland on the integration of technology and psychotherapy.
